We love using the iPads in the classroom. At our Learning Conferences this week, our parents have been asking – What apps can we download and use on our iPads at home?
There are so many different apps we use for different activities. We are starting a list of apps we could use at home to support our learning. They will be tagged under the different categories of Numeracy, Spelling, Reading, Writing so you can search for them easily.
Our first app we want to share is called Explain Everything.
Explain Everything
This open ended app allows us to take photos of our work and then we can narrate and record our voices as we explain our problem solving in Maths or show how we read fluently. We were so proud to show these mini movies to our parents! What new learning would you like to show using Explain Everything next in the classroom? Leave Melinda some ideas!

if I had explain everything on my dads ipad I proberly do a report on lego.

That sound like an ace idea Alec. I wonder if you could create the instructions using Explain Everything? We could record that at school if you set it up at home. Maybe bring in some small lego to create and we’ll have a go. Melinda
